Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm SS 2012/13
Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm have fashioned a hybrid sunglass line: an oversized visor coupled with traditional spectacle elements makes this model look like sports headwear.
Named Daisuké, this piece was inspired by the longstanding connection of Bernhard Willhelm toJapan– the country where the creative duo produces all of their designs. Daisuké has a narrow bridge that runs from the top edge of the frame down to the middle of the nose, making the wearer’s face almost disappear behind the tinted visor.
Daisuké’s frame is made of mylon. The visor is available in black, green or a gold/reflective and can be bought at all Mykita boutiques, and selected opticians and concept shops.
