Since its establishment in 2005, Vicomte A – a French success story – has celebrated key milestones. The year 2013 marked the opening of several single brand stores in such major markets as Miami, Saint Dominica, Punta Cana, Tunisia, Tours, and Marseilles. The line is now distributed in Canada by Perfect Optical.
Just seven years after it made its initial grand entrance on the optical fashion stage, Vicomte A boasts nearly 400 sales outlets, including roughly twenty of its self-named boutiques.
Arthur de Soultrait, founder of the broad-based fashion brand, had chic French sportswear in mind in terms of a look that would marry a golf-meets-nobility sensibility reflected in the collection’s use of round and square shapes with leopard prints, and mixes of black and green, turquoise and purple.
Recently, the company announced its signing with Montreal-based distributor Perfect Optical. Once again, this time in eyewear, the Vicomte A brand breaks established dress codes with an audacious mix of material and style.
Inspired by the iconic styles of the 1930s, the Vicomte A collection plays with colour and typical preppy shapes in 10 models, three colours each. The target age group is 25-35 stylish rebels seeking quality up-market products, accessibly priced. Vicomte A brings colour, light, elegance, and humour to the eyewear market with enough aristocratic cheekiness for everyone.
